Mayor Lovely A. Warren received the endorsement of Governor Andrew Cuomo and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul today, adding to the list of high-ranking dignitaries who have backed her bid for reelection.
“Rochester has seen unprecedented growth in recent years, and much of this can be credited to Mayor Lovely Warren’s leadership and vision,” Cuomo said. “Mayor Warren has been a great partner in government, working hard to fight poverty, revitalize Rochester’s economy, and build opportunities for children of all backgrounds. I am proud to call Mayor Warren a friend and colleague, and I ask all Rochester residents to stand with me and support Lovely Warren in her well-deserved re-election.”
“I’ve had the privilege of working closely with Mayor Warren and seeing first hand her deep commitment to bettering the lives of the residents of her beloved city,” said Lieutenant Governor Hochul. “Whether promoting the creation of new jobs, creating access to worker training to lift people out of poverty or transforming the Downtown, Lovely Warren is an amazing partner and I am proud to support her re-election.”
Mayor Warren proudly accepted Governor Cuomo’s and Lieutenant Governor Hochul’s endorsement.
“No administration has done more for Upstate New York and the City of Rochester than Governor Andrew Cuomo and Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul,” Mayor Warren said. “All you have to do is look around Downtown to see the progress and investment taking shape in our center city – and that goes for our neighborhoods as well. Thanks to our New York State Leadership, we are creating more jobs, safer and more vibrant neighborhoods and better educational opportunities for citizens in every corner of our city. I am honored to have their endorsement and look forward to continuing this important work together.”
