Mayor Warren Obtains Over Ten-Times the Required Signatures for Election Ballot

March 26, 2021: Volunteers hit the streets during the recent three-week petitioning period obtaining signatures from registered voters, ensuring that  Mayor Lovely A. Warren’s name is on the ballot for the upcoming 2021 elections. Mayor Warren exceeded the 300 signature requirement by 1400%, securing more than 4,000 signatures.

Petitioners reported that the citizens of Rochester were happy to sign while acknowledging Mayor Warren’s kept promises of creating more jobs, safe – more vibrant neighborhoods, and better educational opportunities. 

With  Mayor Warren’s new Equity and Recovery Agenda, residents are eager to see continuity in Mayor Warren’s work, with further development projects, additional educational opportunities, more job training programs, and equity for every citizen. 

“I am thankful and humbled to receive such amazing support from our community,” said Mayor Warren. “I am dedicated to serving the residents of the great City of Rochester. It is encouraging to know that so many of you still believe and want to see us bring more of our plans to fruition. Thank you for ensuring that my name is on the ballot in the upcoming elections.”
